Using Powerpoint and Paint

I have nearly completed my Double Page Spread. Here it is. The first print screen shows me using Powerpoint to make my standfirst. I then copy and pasted it on to InDesign. InDesign is quite hard to use if you wanted make your spread look attractive with colours and fonts so that is why I was using Powerpoint and Paint for this.
